First you get a short introduction to Bavaria and its history, lasting about 10 minutes. Then comes the actual Timeride time travel with the VR glasses in another room. You fly virtually through Bavarian history. The whole thing looks visually real and is extremely well done. Better than any 3D cinema or similar. You start in the Stone Age, fly through the Middle Ages to modern times, like to Neuschwanstein under King Ludwig II. We really liked, for example, the Limes between the Romans and Germanic peoples, as well as Regensburg in the Middle Ages.
Timeride Munich is difficult to describe in words. You simply have to see it to believe. From our point of view: it’s worth it. We also think it is better than Timeride Dresden and Timeride Berlin. We have visited both before. From our point of view, the Timeride (time travel) through Bavaria in Munich is a few years more modern and also better in terms of content. The idea of a virtual reality journey through time through Bavaria, through all the highlights of Bavarian history, is brilliant. Be sure to check it out when you’re in Munich!
